Dedicated to Concord’s Sister City Kitakami, Japan, the artwork was designed to share the traditional and beautiful elements of Japanese culture. Celebrating 50 years of friendship in October 2024.

David “Hyde” Cho is a native Bay Area artist with a passion for illuminating environments with positive visual imagery. He commits to accomplishing this in every project he begins. Hyde holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and has 18 years of mural painting experience. He is a rare artist that can paint nearly any style in any medium and is the lead artist for Local Edition Creative. Fun Fact: Hyde is one of the original artists that started the street art boom in 2004 in the the Mission District San Francisco, prior to the heavy urban development.
